On Friday morning, we had a chance to visit our Grade 5/6 and 8 classes in the gym and play some games of chance! Students bet their tickets and got to play games, our goal was to come back to class with the most tickets. Once we returned to class, each student counted their tickets. Landon was our lucky winner, as he returned to class with 65 tickets.
Some of our friends put their tickets in rows to count them, some counted by twos and 1 friend (Remi) counted to ten and made piles of ten (and then counted his tickets by 10). We loved seeing the different strategies they used to count their tickets.
