Some facts;

Þ PACHI is a porcupine and was the design of four students from Bolton Ontario aged 13 years

Þ Porcupines are found throughout North and South America including more than 20 of the Pan American countries competing in the Games

Þ Like other porcupines, PACHI has a visual impairment and difficulty seeing objects far away

Þ PACHI has 41 brightly coloured quills – one for each of the Pan American countries participating in the Games.  His quills are five brilliant colours and represent qualities that he holds.

 GREEN is youth, FUCHSIA is passion , BLUE is collaboration,  ORANGE is determination  and PURPLE is            creativity.

We are sending home a colouring sheet for a Kindergarten colouring contest. Please return by Wednesday, May 6th. (We request that students are not assisted with this sheet).
